Color Management

Lumiere Digital Printing Lab is a fully color managed workflow, from our hardware calibrated monitors to precise Epson printers and custom built paper profiles. Even our light source is balanced and pure. However, this still does not guarantee color correctness unless you, too, are using fully color calibrated workflow. We work in the Adobe RGB (1998) color space and will convert any file sent into that space.

If color is critical, you can do one of two things:

Request a Proof Print
An 8”x10” or 11”x14” proof print can be provided for you to see the colors and/or any specified Photoshop work to be done. If you are not certain your file will produce the results you expect, then please order a proof print. For any fine art reproductions or color critical work, a proof print is strongly suggested. The charge for a proof print is the same as an 8”x10” or 11”x14” print on the paper you specified for the final print. Once you are satisfied, we will print your image full size.

Request a Match Print
Send us a match sample or a smaller version of exactly what you want, we can color match it to the best of our abilities. The charge for a match print is listed on our price sheet. The fee covers our time to get as close as possible to your match sample plus a proof print for your approval.

Please note: If you request us to print your image order without a proof and you are not satisfied, we cannot reprint your order free of charge.
