We are very pleased to offer Lumiere 100% Rag Board from Rising Paper. Our acid free rag board has a ph of 9 +/- 0.5 and is buffered with calcium carbonate. It has passed both PAT and ISO testing.

Nestled within the Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts, Rising Paper Mill has been producing some of the highest quality 100% rag paper for over 125 years. Unique to its location is an artesian well supplying the mill with water containing natural calcium, free of harmful minerals.

Non Buffered Rag Board is recommended when matting dye transfer, albumen, cyantype prints or textiles such as wool or silk. This neutral pH rag board contains no buffering agents which could cause a color shift.
